Bio:
When his Lord, Makoto, was killed by agents of Lord Rikushira, this 17th Century samurai vowed revenge. Joined by Izzy, he planned to kill first Rikushira and then, in an act of honorable seppuku, himself. The first task was accomplished with relative ease, but, when the Clan Rikushira was shown to be controlled by the alien Gaijin species, he became a part of a much larger sequence of events that prevented him from committing suicide.

Ultimately, through the Eighth Doctor's intervention, he was permanently imbued with "nano-drones". These microscopic entities worked to repair any damage to his cellular structure, meaning that he effectively became immortal.
