Bio:
Low-level Speedball foe.

The Basher was a rookie cop who wasn't cut out to be a police officer. After dropping out, The Basher took a job at an establishment that was frequented by the cops of Springdale. He soon developed an intense hatred for police officers and went on a 'bashing' spree putting three officers in the hospital.

When trying to 'bash' two more officers, The Basher failed and ran. The officers followed and ran into Robbie Baldwin (Speedball). Robbie planned to investigate the matter as Speedball.

Attempting to attack the same two police officers, The Basher was interrupted by Speedball. The two scuffled and The Basher was able to flee. Unfortunately for him, he ran into the same two officers and was unmasked. The two officers recognized him as a former rookie cop and he was sent to prison.

He was later broken out of prison alongside seven other of Speedball's earliest foes by Clyde, a man who planned to go by the name Rebound once he was able to give himself Speedball's powers. Clyde was a self proclaimed "Criminal Genuis". They planned to capture Niels the Cat who had been given the same powers as Speedball during the accident that transformed Robbie Baldwin into Speedball. It was through Niels that Clyde planned on gaining his powers. Speedball defeated eight of his foes with very little trouble.
