Visionary (Image) Real Name: Hector Chang Search for 'Visionary (Image)' on eBay Powers: Visionary has developed laser vision and enhanced sight after being irradiated by Maddie Warner. He can look through things as if he has X-ray vision as well. Visionary wears a faceplate that seems to enhance his laser vision by making the beam much broader. He no longer wears glasses after being irradiated. Bio: Hector Chang lives, and goes to high school, in Vancouver, British Colombia with his single mother. Hector is reserved and shy, going largely unnoticed except by a school bully. It was at the Dominic Da Vinci High School where Chang met Maddie Warner, the widow of Captain Dynamo. Maddie told Hector of his lineage, that he is actually the biological son of Captain Dynamo. Through some coercion, Maddie convinced Hector to meet up with his other siblings in Captain Dynamo's secret base, located in Tower City. It was during this meeting that Maddie Warner irradiated the siblings to unlock their super powers. She went on to explain now that her husband was dead, Tower City needed heroes to take his place. The five siblings were to be Captain Dynamo's replacement, calling themselves Dynamo 5. Since joining the team, Hector has shown some more confidence by confronting his bully in high school. He had confided in his brother Scatterbrain that he was a virgin, and both Scatterbrain and their brother Myriad have made it their purpose to change that, to Hector's dismay. When Captain Dynamo seemingly returned to Tower City, Maddie Warner asked Hector to use his vision-based abilities to tell if his body still remained in the cemetery. Hector revealed that Captain Dynamo's coffin was actually empty.
