Bio: One of a race of people stranded on a living planet. His ancestors' ship was pulled down by the lonely planet because it was seeking a way to commune with other beings. Though the planet's natural immune system had long viewed Kul's race as disease to be isolated and killed, the Tenth Doctor found a way to allow Kul to communicate directly with the planet, Kul was the first of his kind to talk to the planet, and therefore his people's apparent leader.
Notes: The first appearance of Kul is slightly tricky. He was not named nor particularly featured in Battles in Time #13. However, by issue #14, he's immediately named by the narrative box as if readers should know who he was. Thus, the logical inference is that he was one of the un-named members of his race encountered in the previous installment.
