Real Name: Isaiah King

Powers:
* Telepathy: Gifted with psychic powers since birth, King's natural abilities were increased a thousandfold when he was exposed to the Comet Effect. The result was King's transformation into the most powerful psionic being ever known to man.

* Telekinesis: He has been known to use his telekinesis to augment his strength and to fly.

Bio:
A member of the ill-fated Team One, King survived and was stationed on the Monitor One satellite, the precursor to the United Nations SkyWatch orbital platform. He was exposed to the Comet Effect which later drove him and the other scientists aboard insane, at the same time granting them incredible powers. They were forced into a cryogenic prison aboard SkyWatch and dubbed The WarGuard, a mutually assured destrution last resort weapon.

The United Nations activated the WarGuard when Daemonites threatened the Earth during the WildStorm Rising incident. Under Despot's leadership, the WarGuard refused to co-operate and crashed SkyWatch into Death Valley. Despot was later killed by Spartan and his own son, Battalion.
