Powers: Controlled a Black Light Generator, capable of casting a pall of darkness over a sizable area.
Bio: The city of el Dorado was a colony of ancient Incans, still alive in modern times. Having passed through caverns built by the Deviants, they found the city, and the Sacred Flame, a source of cobalt energy.
Prince Rey was the secular ruler of the city, but he was deposed by Lann, who ruled the city religiously as Keeper of the sacred flame. Lann sought to increase the strength of the Flames in order to attack the outside world. When Goliath (Hank Pym) enters the city, he battles with the Keeper's forces, but Rey rescues him. However, it turns out that Rey is just as power-hungry as Lann, and Goliath eventually turns against both sides and extinguishes the flames.
Later, at the urging of Tyrannus (in disguise at the time), Rey and Lann would join forces again to re-create the flames. In battle with the Hulk, the pair are then killed, sacrificed to the flames by a treacherous Tyrannus, and the flames are expelled into space for good, destroying the city.
