Replicus (Marvel)
Real Name:
Search for 'Replicus (Marvel)' on Amazon

Replicus had superhuman strength (Class 75?) and durability. Its chest contained a hollow cavity in which it could store materials. Its speed and reflexes were sufficient to allow it to dodge Thor's hammer. Its fingers could be heated to an unspecified level or they could extend cobalt cables able to entrap foes. It could fire a powerful energy blast from a weapon in its forehead. While a powerful foe, it did depend on an external power source; if that was damaged, it crumpled to the ground, inert.

Replicus was built by the alien Chuda as a prototype for other such robots, which he hoped to spread across the USA, causing chaos. Ultimately, he intended to create thousands of Replicus duplicates and use them to take over Earth for his superiors.

Chuda introduced Replicus to mobster "Slugger" Sykes. After it proved itself by robbing a bank, Sykes agreed to buy it. Sykes also had Replicus throw out his henchmen, as they were no longer necessary. Under Sykes' direction Replicus robbed more banks, as well as jewelry stores, resisting police attempts to stop it. Thor arrived to confront Replicus, but found it powerful enough to hold its own against him. However, as they battled, Sykes attacked Chuda after learning his motives. They destroyed Replicus's power pile, which instantly incapacitated Replicus.
