Real Name:
Search for 'Mubaru' on Amazon

Mubaru possessed no powers beyond those of a normal human. He briefly utilized a mining suit which provided him with several attributes, including the ability to dig through rock and Vibranium, intensely powerful cutting lasers and two spotlights of a large wattage.

While dealing with protestors against the ending of Vibranium trade with certain countries, T’Challa (The Black Panther) was advised by his inner council on the best course of action. One of the members, Mubaru, representing the Mountain Tribes, reminded him of the ramifications of the trade ban.

Seeking solitude, the Panther went to Warrior Falls, found on the side of a mound of Vibranium, and was shocked to discover the area behind the waterfall was being accessed by unauthorized users. Investigating, T’Challa discovered a group of miners and quickly defeated them before their leader, Mubaru revealed himself, wearing an experimental digging suit. Using the technology of the suit, Mubaru temporarily blinded the Panther, but before he could strike a killing blow, T’Challa used his enhanced sense of smell to locate his foe, and tore the suit’s battery pack off, rendering Mubaru immobile.

Mubaru was incarcerated in a Wakandan prison, where he was visited by T’Challa. He demanded his release, or else the protests would not only continue, but escalate into full-scale rioting. The Panther opted to do what he felt was best for his country, and without releasing Mubaru, reconsidered his stance on the trade ban.
