Sylia has built up a rather impressive list of real-estate and financial holdings, giving her access to enormous wealth and power within Megatokyo, though she is most known for being the owner and operator of the "Silky Doll" lingerie shop.
Inside her hardsuit, Sylia becomes a dynamic force of strength. The suit augments her reflexes and gives her the ability to fly thanks to a set of thrusters built into a set of retractable wings.
Combat-wise, Sylia's armaments are geared specifically towards close-range fighting. Each gauntlet of her suit holds a retractable blade capable of cutting through a solid block of titanium as though it were butter. In addition to the blades, the right palm of her suit holds a short-range energy blaster capable of punching a fist-sized hole in any attacker who gets too close for comfort.
The death of Sylia's father haunts her even to this day and can send her into waves of depression if she reflects upon it too long.
Her empathy for others can be manipulated against her as well, as Sylia is unwilling to risk endangering the lives of innocents, even when doing so could mean a few deaths in the present as opposed to many more in the future. She will not kill another person without good reason, and even feels some empathy when it comes to ending the function of a Boomer.
Sylia Stingray's father, a reknowned scientist who worked for Genom Corp., was murdered when Sylia and her brother Mackie were both very young, leaving Sylia to raise her brother all by herself. Later, when it was revealed that Genom was responsible for her father's death, Sylia turned the vast resources left to her by her father into a means to avenge him. To this end, she enlisted not only the help of her younger brother, but three other trusted women to create a four-woman team of heavily-armed and armoured protectors of Megatokyo.
Using the information Dr. Stingray left behind, Sylia and Mackie developed the hardsuits worn by the Knight Sabers as well as the Motoroid assault mechs that frequently accompany them into battle.
As a cover story, Sylia has chosen to operate a high-end lingerie store known as "Silky Doll". While the profits from this store aren't enough to cover the cost of doing repairs and upgrades to the hardsuits, it does give Sylia a respectable stand in the business community and a facade for her and the rest of her team to hide behind if Genom comes sniffing.
