Powers: Deadpool has a healing factor induced from Weapon X testing.
Weaknesses: Deadpool is extremely self conscious about his appearance as he has cancerous scars all over his body.
Bio: Wade Wilson began as a boy with bad parents. During his teen years, Wade's parents kicked him out of the house after some misbehavings at his expense. Wade began focusing his career on crime, and later, according to himself, shot his mother, with his father having already left the house some time before.
Wade later discovered he had cancer and was dying. While desperately trying to find a cure he discovered the existence of the Weapon X Program and joined them. They performed several experiments on him and cured the cancer, but along the way ruined his face horribly.
Wade escaped the facility, making enemies in Ajax, one of Weapon X' top security guards. Wade later apparently stole the identity of a man called Wade Wilson, whom Deadpool's arch enemy, T-Ray, claims to be his true identity. T-Ray and Deadpool faced off against each other a couple of times since.
Deadpool became a merc-for-hire, and did jobs for lots of mobsters including the Kingpin. He also spend some time in Japan where he fell in love until that woman was killed, and he returned to America.
There, he kidnapped a blind woman only known as Blind Al and a "mad-scientist" called Weasel. However the three became friends of somesort and joined forces with each other.
Deadpool became the main target of Landeau, Luckman & Lake whom they saw as their Messiah to defeat an alien threat. After a long time of discovering the truth about the corporation, Wade succeeded in his mission.
He developed some romantic feelings towards Siryn, but she couldn't find the time to begin a proper relationship with him and the two broke up, though helped each other out on several occasions since.
Wade continued his mercenary ways after that, and found himself once more the target of a re-started Weapon X program. They wanted Wade to rejoin and in return would restore his scarred face. Wade agreed and the surgery worked, and Wade performed some missions for the team. However he rebbelled when the program wanted Wade to kill Copycat, another former love interest of Wade. He managed to break free and in return scarred his own face to make himself forget about the Program. Wade found Coypcat killed by Sabretooth and was later shot by the program and buried.
However he survived thanks to the aid of Death, a female entity Wade met during his stay at the original program during the curing of his cancer. Wade made a deal with Thanos that he could return to the living and in exchange Wade would stop flirting with Death. The plan worked and Deadpool was alive again.
He later squarred off against Agency X and its owner, Agent X, whom was falsly believed to be a rejuvinied Wade in a new body. After things got cleared up, Wade became close friends with Cable and stayed at his island of Providence until it was destroyed. He also joined Agency X.
After the Civil War, Wade became one of the registered super-humans and is now considered an anti-hero
Notes: Deadpool is one of the few people to openly acknowledge his status as a comic book character, frequently breaking the 'fourth wall' by making quips about his writers and artists, or even visiting the offices of Marvel comics to ask for help in tracking down a secondary character.

"I'm sorry! I'm nervous! I'm rambling! I can't control the exclamation points!"
"Drat! Everyone gets my voice on account of the hollow, crinkly de-mee sound its makes and the funky yellow balloons."
"Hmm. Thought I was cured of that whole 'fourth wall' thing..."

"Shhh... My common sense is tingling."
"The answer to your first question is shaddap!"
