Former Number Two at the Secret Intelligence Service (S.I.S. or MI6) station in Prague, Czechoslovakia (Prague Number Two). Acted as gopher and resident legman for Prague Number One, Frances Barclay. Eventually became Deputy Chief of Service (DCS) for the Secret Intelligence Service (S.I.S. or MI6), having oversight of all aspects of Intelligence gathering and operations. Immediate superior to Paul Crocker.
