The Worm was a great fierce creatured that had existed for centuries during an unnamed time and age.

Through tales told, it was revealed that The Worm had slaughtered many different tribes that had tried to inhabit the valley in which it dwelled.

After slaughtering the tribe of the fierce warrior Niord, The Worm was drawn into battle with the warrior, and even though The Worm was able to kill Niord, it was also slain in the battle. In it's last moments, it slithered back into the hole in the earth of which it called home, and with a grinding moan, brought the entire valley down around itself.

Supernatural Thrillers #3 in which The Worm appears, is adapted from the work of Robert E. Howard.
