Fought against Sif and Thor and lost badly. During the battle, Thor absorbed Megatak's electrical energies using his hammer Mjolnir, knocking out Megatak and leaving the villain without his powers.

Some months afterwards, he tracked down Sif and Beta Ray Bill in New York City after they had battled Titanium Man. Before he could attack, he was shot and killed by the vigilante known as Scourge, who was disguised as a homeless person.

However, Megatak did not stay dead. He, along with several other victims of Scourge, was resurrected by The Hood (who was using powers given to him by Dormammu) to form a group to kill the Punisher.

After that, he went on to join the Savage Six, formed by Crime-Master. He would go on to be killed by Toxin (Eddie Brock) during a battle with Venom (Flash Thompson).
