Destiny (Marvel) (01 - Personification of)
Real Name:
Search for 'Destiny (Marvel) (01 - Personification of)' on Amazon

Bio:
Destiny is the manifestation of the universal destiny force and rarely appears in a personified form, and usually only through a gathering of chance coinicidences or manipulation. When she does appear, she generally appears as a young girl with a mystical harmonica. (The harmonica belonged to Sister Celestia in her initial appearance, and contained Celestia's soul; when she appeared again, which may or may not be in the 616 continuity, she again had a harmonica, with no connection to Celestia.)

Her corporeal form is fragile and easily destroyed, and its sparkling fragments have an effect on the destinies of those whom they touch.

Notes:
The Marvel Universe Appendix has asserted that Destiny is really Sister Celestia in disguise, but this is based only on a brief line from a cultist saying that the cult has altered the course of destiny. The character is referred to without any qualifiers (such as a claim that a character simply believed such) as the "universal destiny force," such as in the recaps in MTIO #7 and Defenders #20 (her only appearance in those issues). Nothing in the actual issues supports that she is Celestia in disguise.

First Appearance: Marvel Two-In-One (1974) #6
