General Sunderland Real Name: Avery Carlton Sunderland Search for 'General Sunderland' on eBay Bio: Head of the Sunderland Corporation, the general was behind the murder of Alec Holland and saw Swamp Thing as a way to get at the formula that was lost with Alec's death. Swamp Thing suffocated him and he was last seen in Hell, having his tongue torn out by the demon Muttlecraunch. He had his body frozen and set up as a monument at his company.
