Like all Asgardians, Morduk was extremely long-lived, though not actually immortal, He had superhuman strength (Class 25?) and durability. Morduk was noted for his wisdom and knowledge. He is extremely knowldgeable about Asgard and its associated realms, and is highly skilled cartographer. He possesses a vast array of maps, as well as an extesive store of artifacts of mystic power (such as the Crimsom Hand) and presumably objects of other significance, as well.

Morduk is one of the Asgardian gods, a sage.

He gave Thor a map to take him beyond Asgard into the unknown realms and the Crimson Hand.

He gave Greyval Grimson a map and advices how to recover the Raven Banner of Asgard. He told sages agree before searching the banner he might visit Grim Magnus shadow in Valhalla. There honorable dead for Asgard remain eternally. His father spirit will guide Greyval. And the map will help too. Noting there were many perils along the way; and that only he of dauntless spirit could cross Valhalla's golden bridge while still living. Horskuld arrogantly refused the counsel of Morduk and the sages and galloped away companionless, trusting only himself.
