Bio:
Harleen Quinzel was a gymnast who got a scholarship to Gotham University to study in the Psychology department. She was just an Intern at the Gotham Asylum when she saw the Joker. After months of convincing the head doctor to let her have a session with him she finally got a chance. Warned of how he manipulates people she studied everything about the Jokers tricks and was ready for anything... almost. She found out that the Joker was beaten as a child by his dad. "In the weeks ahead, it soon became clear to me that the Joker, so often described as a raving, homicidal madman, was nothing more than a tortured soul crying out for love and acceptance. A lost child looking to make the world laugh at his antics. And there was, as always, the self-righteous Batman determined to make life miserable for my angel. Yes as unprofessional as it sounds I had fallen in love with my patient"(The Batman Adventures 'Mad Love')There was a week when the Joker escaped and when batman returned him she saw what horrible person Batman was for beating her puddin'. she soon dawned on her infamous costume and freed the Joker. No longer was she Harleen Quinzel But Harley Quinn, named after the famous medieval jester, Harlequin.
