Mirax ("Myra") Terrik

Search for 'Mirax ("Myra") Terrik' on Amazon

Bio:
Human female pilot who was a childhood friend of Wedge Antilles. She knows him well enough to use his childhood name "Veggies" when he accidentally uses her childhood name of "Myra".

Not strictly a Rogue, she has about the same relationship to Wedge that Han Solo does to Luke. A smuggler by trade, her routes often place her into the same predicaments in which the Rogues find themselves.

She married Corran Horn, a sometimes-Rogue, sometimes-student of Luke Skywalker. They eventually had two children Valin and Jysella. Both were Force-sensitive.

Her father, Booster Terrik, initially disapproved of the relationship, as Horn's father had sent Booster to hard labor in the spice mines on Kessel. However, when the younger Horn proved to be his own man, the elder Terrik embraced him as part of the family.

Notes:
Much of this character's development is done well outside the scope of comic books. However, in the sense that the X-Wing Rogue Squadron title is a prelude to the Stackpole novels of the same name, a young Terrik is often featured in the pages of the comic book. Indeed, when viewed from the perspective of the overall Star Wars timeline, her earliest appearance is in comics.
