Mag - En (Earth-1) Search for 'Mag - En (Earth-1)' on eBay Bio: College pal of Jor-El. Father of Ran-En, a twisted scientist who sought to control all Krypton through the use of "Kryptonian hyper-hypnotism". Was in league with his son. He would've probably been sent to the Phantom Zone, like his son, had he not perished in the explosion of Krypton. Before that explosion, however, he had access to the infant Kal-El. Using the moment, he implanted a thought in Kal-El's mind to do 10 acts of evil when he saw a certain blue comet. This he later did, as Superman, where it took the intervention of Supergirl to snap him out of it.
