Plif
Real Name:
Search for 'Plif' on Amazon

Powers:
Telepathy, probably stemming from genuine Force-sensitivity.

Bio:
Resembling a small, pink rabbit, Plif was a well-spoken member of the diplomatic wing of the Rebellion, and ultimately a New Republic senator. He was a nominally a colleague of Princess Leia, but most often represented in Marvel Comics' Star Wars series as a companion to Luke Skywalker.

Dramatically, he often was used in situations where the writers needed the diplomatic "weight" of Princess Leia, and the officious speech patterns of C-3P0. HIs small size meant he could ride in the cockpit of an X-wing. giving Luke someone to talk to in-flight.

He is a member of the Hoojib species, which hail from the planet Arbra. According to Marvel, Arbra was the place to which the Rebels fled following the Battle of Hoth (Episode V).

Notes:
Though a fairly prominent member of the Marvel Star Wars cast, he has never been used in any other comic title. For that matter, he has not been used in novels either.

First Appearance: Star Wars (1977) #55
