Replikon (01 - Xum)
Real Name: Xum
Search for 'Replikon (01 - Xum)' on Amazon

Millions of years ago, the alien Xum survived the destruction of a planet that lay between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, and became the caretaker of two 'eggs' to ensure the forthliving of his race. Upon discovering Earth, Xum attempted to make it suitable for his children, even though it would mean the destruction of all human life. Taking the form of an Earthman (its visuals based on various Justice League members) and renaming itself 'Replikon', the creature clashed with Green Lantern (Hal) and other Leaguers, but was defeated. Years later, Green Lanterns John Stewart and Katma Tui encountered Replikon in our solar system once more. After an initial battle, the Lanterns helped to build a world in the asteroid belt, where the grateful Replikon gave birth to its children Sachi and Yukinori.

Some time later, Replikon was discovered by Ruin, a man with an intense grudge against Superman, who forced Replikon to do his bidding in order to learn more about the Man of Steel. Once Ruin had taken the readings he needed from Replikon's interaction with Superman, he triggered a chain reaction that killed the alien.

He also sometimes took the form of "Andre", an ideal man taken from the mind of Carol Ferris.
