Nali - Ilv (Earth-1)

Bio:
Kryptonian criminal who was the first to be placed in Jor-El's orbiting "rehabilitation ships". Though the plan was that the criminal would serve his sentence in suspended animation circling the planet Krypton—all the while receiving retraining through recorded tapes—his vessel instead crash landed soon after being launched.

When he emerged from the craft he surprisingly had the super-powers of a lower-order Superman. He attempted to use them to subdue Krypton.

Jor-El II later unmasked the returned Nali-Ilv as a fraud. The man who emerged from the craft was in fact Ilv's brother, using a variety of Jor-El's inventions to simulate super powers.
