Cyclone (Marvel)(02 - André Gerard)
Real Name: André Gerard
Search for 'Cyclone (Marvel)(02 - André Gerard)' on Amazon

Powers:
Special costume that allowed him to create tornado-force whirlwinds about his body.

Bio:
Cyclone is a former engineer who developed a means of creating tornado-force whirlwinds as a weapon for war. After having his invention rejected by his employeers (NATO), Cyclone swore to gain vengance on America and became the costumed villain named Cyclone.

In Paris, Cyclone took J. Jonah Jameson hostage and demanded a one million dollar ransom for his release. When Joseph Robertson came to Jameson's aid, he was also captured. Spider-Man came to their aid and defeated Cyclone.

The Masked Marauder, then the head of the New York based Nefaria "family" of the Maggia, had Cyclone freed from prison and sent him to kill Spider-Man and Moon Knight. Both survived Cyclone's attack and later tracked down Cyclone where he was defeated by Moon Knight.

Sometime later, Cyclone agreed to attend a meeting of costumed villains at "The Bar with No Name" to come up with a strategy of dealing with Scourge, an assassin who was killing costumed villains. Unaware that Scourge was actually in attendance at the meeting disguised as the bartender, Cyclone and all others that were in attendance, were brutually shot dead by Scourge.

Gerard's DNA was later used by Arnim Zola to create a proto-husk. This proto-husk attacked and was killed by Deadpool.

André Gerard seemingly returned from the dead in the 2007-08 Captain Marvel mini-series, though it is suggested that he is in fact a Skrull impostor.

Notes:
