Astronomer
Real Name: Unrevealed
Search for 'Astronomer' on Amazon

Powers:
Astronomer has virtual immortality; due to a pact made with a personification of Death, the Astronomer cannot be killed by any means until Death revokes her vow. He also possesses the ability to project laser beams from his hands.

Bio:
Long ago, he chose to dedicate himself monomaniacally to chronicling the slow evolution of the stars and galaxies themselves. He long ago lost interest in living beings, which may explain why he went undiscovered for so long.

He helped the Grandmaster devise a plot against Galactus. His desires were for a new universe to be created, one where the Elders would have more power. He was one of the three Elders sucked into a black hole as a result of the incident. He and the others were rescued by the cosmic entity called the In-Betweener, who seemingly compelled Death to kill the trio. Due to previous schemes involving Death, the Elders were supposed to be barred from her realm so whether the Astronomer is truly dead remains to be seen.
