Exploitinator (Marvel)(Earth-665)
Real Name:
Search for 'Exploitinator (Marvel)(Earth-665)' on Amazon

Bio:
Exploitinator exists in the same universe as the Keeper of the Comics Code (a universe that's supposed to be the real Earth possibly... he only exists in fourth wall breaking situations).

The Exploitinator is the guy the comic publishers come to when they need a gimmick to sell a comic book. Holograms, double covers, inserts, foil logos, cover enhancements... they're all his ideas. Marvel's promotional department was worried She-Hulk's "Sensational She-Hulk" series would drop in sales after John Byrne lefts as writer/artist with issue #50, so they hired the Exploitinator to punch up her book to keep it competitive during the summer. Her persuaded the writer to add elements that would appeal to the the readers of the day: a brutal villain, She-Hulk's death and turning savage, extreme violence etc. To make sure all this could get by the comics code, he trapped The Keeper of the Comics Code and was holding him until the storylie completed.

She-Hulk, in fourth wall breaking fashion as she did during those days, agreed to finish out the storyline after initially being angry at where it was going and wanting to quit, all because she wanted to make sure plots weren't left dangling (such as her father in the hospital).

It's presumed once the story finished, Exploitinator let The Keeper of the Comics Code go.

Notes:
Since most adventures that took place in The Sensational She-Hulk seem to be written off as out of cannon, hallucinations, dreams, or actual adventures for She-Hulk just lacking the fourth wall breaking aspect, it's unclear whether the Expoitinator was an hallucination or just a joke that Marvel writers wrote into the She-Hulk book (since she has licensed her image for use by Marvel and in issue #50 even met everyone at the Marvel offices talking about how she didn't know that the book they were going to publish of her was going to be so weird).
