Action Boy
Real Name:
Search for 'Action Boy' on Amazon

Powers:
Much like Captain Action, Action Boy derives his powers from ancient Athenian coins, bearing the likeness of, and imbuing the holder with the powers of, a different Greek god. Action boy tended to favor the super-swift gifts of Hermes.

Bio:
Captain Action's sidekick—although there's nothing to suggest that he was really somehow less "powerful" than Captain Action. Due to the nature of both their gifts—they derived their powers from simply holding ancient Greek coins—either could be the more useful one in any given situation.

Notes:
This character's moniker "of Earth-1" is derived from the appearance of Superman of Earth-1 and his references to the JLA in his first, two-part story.

This moniker also usefully distinguishes this version of the character from the one featured in the action figure line which predated DC's involvement, the revival action figure line which happened in 2000, and any future reincarnations.
