Franklin Stern

Contribution History:
Date User Field Old Value New Value
2007-04-30 13:09:47 SUPERMAN3D Bio Stern was the owner and publisher of the Daily Planet. He was a civil rights activist in the South. He and Perry White broke up the "Aryan Brotherhood", a group of white supremists conducting genetic experiments to creat a race of Supermen (MOS #47). Stern went to Harvard, after which he became publisher at the Planet, and takes pride in the fact that he has helped change the system. He and Perry have remained close friends, even though they have been known to have frequent disagreements over Perry's editorials. Due to the popularity of television and the Internet, the Daily Planet had been losing money, and eventually (AOS #561), Stern decided to sell the paper to Lex Luthor who later sold the Daily Planet to an unknown buyer for $1 (later revealed to be Bruce Wayne).
