Dark-Crawler

Contribution History:
Date User Field Old Value New Value
2008-12-10 02:12:37 Merrik Powers The Dark-Crawler's powers are variable depending on his magical resources and perhaps his dimensional location. He has demonstrated super-strength, a powerful tail, interdimensional travel and force blasts. He has an affinity for magic and can be summoned by certain spells, is capable of possessing a human, and has taken on malleable and amorphous qualities, such as stretching his limbs. He wields the Sceptre of Shadows, which blinds his opponents in blackness. The Sceptre is fragile but swiftly regenerates.
2008-12-03 02:53:15 Merrik Notes Originally referred to (and even named on the cover of The Incredible Hulk Vol. 2 #126) as Night-Crawler. Yes, the character was the original Night-Crawler of the Marvel Universe. However, after a certain mutant made his debut in Giant Size X-Men #1, the character has almost exclusively referred to himself as Dark-Crawler, most likely a conscious move on all the writer's parts that have handled him to avoid confusion. Night-Crawler is still listed as an aliases in The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A to Z (2008) - HC vol. 03.
