Bio
|
A sentient machine colony from the far future, the android Hourman contains the DNA and now the memories of Rex Tyler, the golden age hero by that name. He was granted control of the worlogog, a device with powers over the workings of time, by the New God Metron and served with the Justice Legion of the far future. Coming with the Legion to present day Earth, Hourman was unwittingly used as a pawn to release a deadly machine virus into modern technology, a virus which was combatted by his colleagues as well as the present day heroes. After this he decided to remain in the present era, and forsook much of his power, limiting himself to power over time for stretches of one hour, much as his namesake had done with his Miraclo tablets. He served for a while with the JLA before settling in Happy Harbour, where the Justice League's former mascot, Snapper Carr, helped him to learn about humanity.
