2011-06-11 10:12:15 aaronmoish Alias Helix Helix (Marvel) (01 - Rafael Carago)
2011-06-11 10:12:15 aaronmoish Bio The Jackal, in his quest to replace all of humankind with clones, created a genetic bomb which would wipe out all regular human life, leaving only clones like himself and his minions alive. When he initially tested the virus (a variant form of the Carrion virus) on a small town, one person somehow survived. Helix exhibited the mutant power to reconstruct himself at will, sometimes growing wings, other times enhancing his strenght, etc. The New Warriors got involved in the affair when the Jackal's assistant, Spidercide, stole materials from longtime Warriors contact Genetech. While tracking down Spidercide, the Jackal, and Spider-Man, who at the time had allied himself with the Jackal, the Warriors teamed up with the Scarlet Spider, and managed to take Helix down. After the affair, Helix was stuck in the Warriors' brig, and though they tried to communicate with him, they had no success. Eventually, it was discovered that he was suffering from amnesia, and that he could only speak Spanish (although he believed that he had learned English before). He befriended Mickey Musashi (Turbo), and aided the team on a couple of occasions, most notably when the Avengers attacked Warriors headquarters. He wound up leaving the team, although he took a Warriors communication badge so he could stay in touch, or be of assistance.
