Father Darklyte

Contribution History:
Date User Field Old Value New Value
2008-12-10 03:11:56 Merrik Bio The leader of the Roman Centurion-like Legion of Nihilists, the enigmatic Darklyte came to Daimon Hellstrom’s home, mouthing meaningless contradictions (“I come to bring you soothing agitation, to impart to you the wisdom of ignorance”) and carrying a lantern from which he summoned the Neanderthalic Trog. Realizing Darklyte was a nihilist, Hellstrom took parapsychologist Dr. Katherine Reynolds and divinity student Byron Hyatt to the Legion’s mansion where Darklyte summoned a griffin that killed Kathy. Claiming that “nothing is,” Darklyte created eight duplicate Kathys, then disappeared. When Hellstrom determined that one body held Kathy’s soul, he destroyed the others, including the original, which horrified Byron and the new Kathy. Hellstrom followed Darklyte’s psychic trail to a cavern where Darklyte was feeding off of his Legion followers. Darklyte called upon his Nihilists and summoned a demon disguised as an angel to fight Hellstrom who used his soulfire to kill all Nihilists but one. Father Darklyte vanished, leaving his clothes behind. His lantern shattered and an army of cockroaches emerged.
