Bio:
Steve Masseroni made his mark at the world’s leading interactive entertainment software company, Electronic Arts (EA), as a Marketing Artist, Video Game Capture Artist, Video Director/Editor, Game Texture Artist, and Game Modeler on the most popular, innovative and successful video game franchise of all time; Will Wright’s The Sims (with over 100 million units sold). Recently, Steve was instrumental in helping produce all the 3D marketing assets for the “Let There Be Sims” Sims 3 base game launch campaign blitz. Steve also has done concept work for Walt Disney Animation Studios and recently was tapped to work on a secret Star Wars project at LucasFilms (due in 2011).

Originally an adult fantasy illustrator, Steve broke into the comic book industry at 19 with the debut of "Steal, Stealth & Magic" working as a penciler, colorist and inker for Eclipse Monthly, the premiere title from Eclipse Enterprises (publishers of Dave Stevens’ The Rocketeer and Scott McCloud’s ZOT!).

In 1998, after graduating with a degree in Classical Civilization from U.C.Berkeley, Steve became the Creative Arts Director at Cornerstone Productions in San Francisco. Under his direction Cornerstone Productions became known for its original video/film/multi-media and theatrical presentations, culminating with a front page feature article in the April 2001 Sunday edition of the San Francisco Chronicle highlighting Steve’s department, which was also featured in ABC’s 2003 nationally syndicated documentary The Changing Face of Worship.

In 2003 Steve co-founded Silver Cord Productions with Kevin Kelly, the co-founder of Wired magazine. In 2004, Steve signed a multiple graphic novel book deal with Simon & Schuster’s Pocket Books for his sci-fi fantasy series The Silver Cord. And his co-screenplay adaptation of The Silver Cord is currently being packaged by feature film producer Ralph Winter (Star Trek III, IV,& V, X-Men, X-2, X-3,The Fantastic Four) for a potential deal at FOX and Walden Media.
