Bio:
J. M. DeSantis is a writer and artist. He is the creator of the India-inspired, fantasy heroine, Chadhiyana and is the author of a number of stories and artworks.

His career in comics began with the Comicbook Artists Guild when he was selected to pencil "Recollections of a Commander", a story featured in their annual comic anthology. This was quickly followed by a featured artist spot in Heavy Metal Magazine and a brief stint as a contributing writer and artist to Planet Lovecraft Magazine (discontinued). Since then, J. M. has continued to write stories and create illustrations for publishers and clients in and out of the comic book industry.

In 2011, J. M. DeSantis began developing his fantasy heroine, Chadhiyana. The first two Chadhiyana stories were published together in a single comic in 2012 as a means of introducing the character to readers. Since then, J. M. has continued work on Chadhiyana and other projects as well.

As for his work, J. M.'s writing is characterized by British spellings and old-styles. It's rumored he writes all first drafts for his fiction by hand. As an artists, J. M. works almost exclusively in traditional media, combining acrylics, inks, pencils and watercolors in his work.
