Jason Lenox is an illustrator who specializes in pencil artwork, india ink rendering and sequential artwork.
Jason recently completed his second full length anthology comic book project Ugli Studios Presents #2 in the summer of 2013 with his 22 page western story The Painted Ladies of San Quentin with writer Kevin Truglio. Fellow artists Joseph Freistuhler and Brian Allen each contributed their own self contained short stories to Ugli Studios Presents #2, as a team they work together under their own banner- Ugli Studios. Jason has recently done pinup work for FUBAR Press, The Aizan Demo Project, Wyrlwyndfs Kantara Comic and recently had a short story published in Gray Haven Publishing Dark Anthology that was released at the 2012 New York Comic Convention. Jason had his first full length comic book Ugli Studios Presents #1 released in the summer of 2012.
Jason will be doing a full year of comic, horror, anime and sci-fi conventions in 2013 to support his work and meet new fans, the schedule of these events will be updated at his events page on his website.
Jason also will see some of his art from Through the Eyes of Grizelda appear in a nationally distributed film in 2013, Nerdist Industries, together with Tribeca Film, will be co-releasing the South By Southwest hit film Zero Charisma, the directorial debut from Katie Graham and Andrew Matthews, so keep your eyes peeled for Jasons pen and ink madness on the big screen!
A graduate of The Pennsylvania Governors School for the Arts (1992) prior to that Jason had extensive classical art training from professional illustrator, Elaine Renna of Lancaster, PA.
Jason Lenox currently lives just outside of the Pennsylvania State University in scenic State College, Pennsylvania in Ferguson Township with his Wife Crystal, Son Blaine, cats- Oz and Kix , and his attack dog, Loki. Jason can be found when the sun sets chained to his drafting table drawing dark fantastic images most evenings and weekends.
