Erica Schultz is an American comic book writer and the co-creator of crime series M3, the winner of the "Best Comic Book" award at the 2012 Burbank International Film Festival.
Her most notable works are Xena and Charmed for Dynamite Comics, Marvel's original graphic novel Revenge: The Secret Origin of Emily Thorne, Vertigo Quarterly: SFX #1, Swords of Sorrow: Masquerade/Kato Special, and the Swords of Sorrow: Black Sparrow & Lady Zorro Special. She has written a Hawkgirl story as part of the DC Comics New Talent Showcase and Writers Workshop. Schultz, along with 10 other students were chosen by DC Comics to be part of the pilot program of the Talent Workshop. Along with artist Claire Connelly, Schultz co-created The Unauthorized Biography of Winston Churchill: A Documentary and Cheese: A Love Story.
Erica provided artistic support for Neal Adams on Superman: The Coming of the Supermen, The New Avengers #16.1, The First X-Men, Batman Odyssey, and Blood.
She has worked as a letterer for Superman: The Coming of the Supermen, and "Batman Zombie" with DC Comics, Blood with Dark Horse, Dynamite's relaunch of Red Sonja, Dejah Thoris, and Vampirella, as well as the Swords of Sorrow crossover series, Vertigo Quarterly: SFX #1, Alan Moore's "Big Nemo" & Garth Ennis' "Red Horse" for Electricomics, and several indie books such as American Dark Age, Midnight Tiger, as well as anthologies for Red Stylo Media.
She is also credited as "Erica Carlson-Schultz" for her work as an animator on "The Astonishing X-Men" motion comic series "Gifted" for Marvel.
