Mark Sexton has worn many hats - genetic engineer (lapsed), storyboard artist, production designer, writer and book illustrator - to name a few. But his favorite hats he wears are as a Father of one boisterous 2 year old, and as a comics writer and artist.
Back in the 1990s, he was co-writer/artist/letterer and publisher of the much-beloved Australian comic book series "Bug & Stump", which ran for 4 years and won a number of OZCON Awards. He also produced 2 issues of the infamous TISM comic in conjunction with the equally infamous Australian alternative band of the same name - the second issue which was promptly banned from distribution around the country.
After a sideways step into the world of storyboarding and concept art - working on films such as "Star Wars: AOTC". "Happy Feet" (which he designed) and the long-awaited "Mad Max: Fury Road", Mark has returned to one of his first loves, comics. More to come..!
