Hector Lima is a Brazilian writer who has moved from the beaches in his hometown Santos to the concrete jungle of downtown São Paulo - there he lives with his wife and eventually DJs in dark dancefloors when he's not doing translation work [like Alan Moore's PROVIDENCE for Panini Brazil]. He has organized the INKSHOT anthology (MonkeyBrain Comics), and also collaborated on several others, like FRANKENSTEIN 200 (Clepsidra), a homage to the publication of Mary Shelley's book, with artist Giovana Guimarães. He has written three graphic novels published in his country by Zarabatana Books and had a few short comics ran in the Grant Morrison-curated HEAVY METAL MAGAZINE - with artists Abel, Rodrigo Urbano e Camila Torrano. This led to his entry in MEGADETH - DEATH BY DESIGN, a celebration of the classic Metal band's songs in comic form. He edits SINISTRA magazine, published by indie label / artist collective Ficticia, of which Hector is a founder.
