Known for his love of all things fantastic and HORROR-endous puns, Forrest J. Ackerman is one of fandom's most beloved figures. He was an early literary agent for science fiction writers such as Ray Bradbury, and editor of the fondly- remembered Famous Monsters of Filmland, which was a source of inspiration to many filmmakers including Joe Dante, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.
