Bret Blevins has been drawing for as long as he can remember. He did some cartooning for a local newspaper, before he began working as a professional comics artist in 1981. He has worked for among others Marvel, DC and Dark Horse, illustrating series like 'Batman', 'Superman', 'X-Men', 'The Incredible Hulk', 'Star Wars', 'Sleepwalker', 'New Mutants' and 'The Dark Crystal'. He has also contributed to Draw! Magazine. In 1996, he entered the field of animation, contributing to Warner Brothers' 'Superman' cartoons, followed by full seasons of 'Batman', 'Batman Beyond', 'Static Shock' and 'Justice League Unlimited' along with occasional episodes of 'X-Men' for Film Roman, as well as Tarzan and Atlantis for Disney. He has won 2 Emmy Awards for his storyboard work.
