2006-08-21 10:43:04 Dummy Bio Part journalist and part fiction writer, Jason M. Burns made the leap into the comic book industry in 2004 after being approached to write a short story for Dead@17: Rough Cut, Volume 1. Since that time he has been working on a number of projects including the upcoming “Dreadful Things Dwell Here” and “Imaginary Friends.” His latest release is the (extremely graphic) graphic novel “The Expendable One,” which was published through Viper Comics. While he served as the founder and Editor In Chief of the nationally distributed pop culture publication Severe Magazine, Burns parted ways with the company in early 2006 and joined Viper Comics as Assistant Publisher. While he has been working regularly in comics, Burns has been concentrating on a career in Hollywood as well, writing and developing a number of projects for both film and television. Burns was born and raised in Massachusetts where he began his career managing musical acts. He has spent the last nine years as an entertainment journalist and public relations professional.
