I spent the afternoon putting together this list of video game to comic adaptations:

Cool, thanks for the heads up. I'll add it once the index updates later today. I wasn't aware of it - I don't think there's been a release in the US of it. It's an adaptation of the game's storyline, yes? I do wish user lists could be resorted alphabetically or by other means, or at least the creator should be able to manipulate their order. As it is, the Mickey volume will be dumped at the end of the list. Or if I delete something from the list at any time, the next thing added to it will be inserted where the deleted content was previously. Gets kind of messy, especially for a list so large. But I digress...

I still have my Genesis. Still works, but it's been gathering dust for years. I understand Epic Mickey's creator, Warren Spector, is writing some Duck Tales comics to be released soon via Boom! and other publishers presumably.

Just updated and added new issues of our free web comic, Chronicles of Akasha. Comments and criticism welcome on this psychedelic story (mature content) -- even better would be if it could be featured as an Indy Comic of the Day, but perhaps that is wishful thinking. :D

In any case, enjoy!

Good job, Soda!

I corrected all the publisher and imprints for Eternity Comics. It only existed as an independent publisher for two years before being absorbed into Malibu Graphics. There were a ton of comics that needed to be changed to the Malibu imprint.

I added characters to the remaining issues from what I could learn online. They are probably incomplete. Also added the two backup stories in the Bruce Lee issues and their reprint info.

That was my guess too, but I haven't been able to track down where they appeared first yet, if anywhere.

In case you missed them, I added two more MK comics to the database:

I just uploaded the newest issue of Comics Revue. Good grief, those are a pain! There are 17 stories in there, all collections of serialized comic strips. I have the previous two issues, but this is the first one I've entered completely. I'll get around to the other two eventually.

I always appreciate it when someone else pitches in to fill out the entries for anthologies of any size. They are a pain. I keep hoping someone else will enter L'Association's "Comix 2000" anthology, so I don't have to... actually I've put off purchasing it, so I can't index it.

I'm updateing the Marvel UK comic Overkill - but checking the writers/artist before adding all the stories onto each title. So just adding notes to each issue [#1-15 done so far - then going back to add what free gifts came with issues too]. A long with Uk Transformers comics too.

I cracked the 3,000 mark on character image submissions. That includes the ones that were replaced over time, but still it was an interesting milestone for me.

It's easy when you can submit them and immidiately "okay" them as well. :D

Okay, it took me around two months, but I checked all 175 issues of Marvel Comics Presents.
Roughly half of the issues were missing all or some editor credits. Around 20 issues had no creator credits at all (but stories and characters listed), around 10 had only the creditors listed the person who added the issue in question obviously liked (Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld et al.), 2 or 3 had wrong creators listed, around 20 had all creators lumped together and not attributed to the story itself and around 10 issues had wrong or missing cover artist credits.

I also merged the following duplicate creators into one single entry:

James Fry (2 entries)
S.L. Gallant (3 entries)
Andrew Hennessy (2 entries)
Chris Cross (2 entries)
Dreamer Design (2 entries)
Ariane Lenshoek (2 entries)
Scott Elmer/Pond Scum (2 entries)
Michael Higgins (4 entries)
Jack Morelli (2 entries)

I finally got rid of "Eros Comix" as a publisher. All issues are now listed under "Fantagraphics Books" (where they belong) with "Eros Comix" being the imprint. I also got rid of the "Mangerotica" imprint which wasn't really used anyway (and is an imprint's imprint).
While doing this I noticed that somebody created "Studio Proteus" as an imprint. That's a studio (and thus belongs into the creator field) and not an imprint. Weird.

So, I guess "Yen Press" is next.

I'm slowly updating the Marvel UK 1984 Transformers comic - starting with cover artist first then go back to add multi stories & what issues are reprinted.

Today I moved all entries from Yen Press (publisher) to Hachette Book Group USA and added Yen Press as the imprint as well (were needed).

Thus could you please take away the logo from this entry
http://www.comicbookdb.com/publisher.php?ID=3252
and move it to this one

?
