Should we have a section on here for unprinted completed comics.


... because many artist & collectors have picked up pages of comics that where cancelled by the publisher or changed.

One that was changed is Clan Destine - was planned as 4 issue mini from Marvel UK by Alan Davis & Mark Farmer, but issue amended into Marvel US #1-5 of the 12 issue series that Alan quit after #8 due to issues with the direct Marvel US editors wanted. But the UK issues had planned for a trading card set with it. Alan would have completed these but we have never seen the art work.

Also Marvel UK had the red mist 2020 titles & Motormouth mini series & Warheads mini series.

Then there's Andrew WIldman inked by Stephen Baskerville, Lee Sullivan, Simon Williams art for Transformers Armada Panini UK #9-12.

At least Marvel US printed some non-released title in the old Marvel Vision comic. This is stuff the company have paid the writer/artist etc to complete & not printed it in the end [not included Transformers or other Dreamwave titles from august 2004 onwards here becausee the creators wheren't paid for work done]

If the issues haven't been released to a wide audience they shouldn't be listed here because people could start to make up comic books that are totally bogus (did you know that there was a "Wolverine & Forbush-Man" miniseries that was never released?).
I did something like this once (the issues from various Future Comics' titles that were never printed) but only because one of the creators (Bob Layton) put the whole issues on his webspace for everybody to download).

Same with the never-released issue #31 of "TMNT: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" that Peter Laird posted on his blog.

If it is listed on the forums not on the database itself. But needs to be real pay for work planned to be printed comics or ever covers - if the cover was dropped & not printed & done by someone else.

Motor Mouth & Killpower v2 #1,2
Clan Destine #1-4 writer/artist Alan Davis. Ink Mark Farmer. comes with 12 trading cards. Story maybe the same as printed in Alan Davis' The Clan Destine #1-5 from Marvel US.
Death's Head 2 Killpower Battletide 3 #1-4. Unsure if art by Geoff Senior.

Death's Head 2 GOLD #2 writer/artist Liam Sharp. Liam may have also plotted out #3,4 too? This was to be 4 issues a year ongoing series written & draw by Liam Sharp.
