It is not just you. Today has been a slow loading day.

There's been a bit of a problem with heavy load. Our host is investigating and dealing with it.

Folks,

There is a plan in the works to load balance HTTP with a secondary server. Should be implemented over the next day or two. Hang in there.

That's good, but, uhh... Is the site currently down for anyone else?

Since you were able to post to the forums, could you specify what's down for you currently?

HTTP has been taking hits throughout the day but it's been ~5 minute outages each time.

It's back up now, but it was timing out when I was trying to hit up the main page, and any other page, really.

It wasn't giving me a specific error, either... sorry.

Ok, that signifies the HTTP server was toast.

We're currently working on load balancing HTTP and we're *hoping* to see a significant performance boost from it.

Stay tuned...

Just FYI, the site was timing out earlier, and I just got this message:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: User comicboo_admin has already more than 'max_user_connections' active connections in /home/comicboo/include/config.php on line 52
Could not connect

Folks,

We are aware of the issues. The load balancing work is still pending (hopefully we can start it tonight). It will be a little bumpy until then.
