Rocket Comics was a line created by Dark Horse in late 2002 in order to promote books that had a science-fiction slant to them. This decision was spurred from the success of Spyboy, one of Dark Horse's more recent company owned titles.

The original logo for Rocket Comics was used between the inception of the imprint and March 2004. This original logo looks more like a bomb than it does a rocket, especially considering that the craft is tilted downward.
Between March 2004 and the present, Rocket Comics used a more stylized and retro design for the rocket. It appears more like a 1950s rocket ship than the futuristic bomb styled rocket previously used.
