Synopsis:
There's been a murder in Redemption Valley and, naturally, the three oddball kids are rounded up and accused of committing the crime. Joel Flood's mother flies to New York in homes of getting Matt Murdock's help, knowing that the court appointed lawyer wouldn't be much help at all. Matt decides to go back to Alabama with Mrs. Flood and discovers that this may be more of a challenge than he presumed. However, he takes the case anyway.
