Synopsis:
This issue is split into two separate parts of the Grand Guignol. In the first part Culp continues to explain his plot in his journals. He also details how he got his villainous crew to join him. In the other part, Hamilton Drew recalls his life and his previous adventures with his friends. In the present he's brought back into the life of mystery by the Elongated Man.

Synopsis:
Culp reveals more of his history, particularly what the Ghost Pirate has to do with his plans. He explains that upon his death the Black Pirate cursed Opal and made it so that they would never know peace in until he did. Culp goes on to explain how he recruited the others and rounds out how he managed to create the plan that destroyed Opal.

Synopsis:
The second story tells the tale of Hamilton Drew, an occultist and detective that Elongated Man went to see while Jack and the others were escaping. It tells the story of how he was briefly involved in a similar case involving shadows and disappearance.
