New Blood (DC)

With the mayor and the district attorney dead, the police instantly go to Brick's home to arrest him. Oddly enough, he comes out and surrenders himself freely. After several hours of silence, Brick asks for some orange soda and tells the police that if they don't let him go in 12 hours, he'll kill the acting mayor's youngest daughter. The two Green Arrows get on the case, following a multitude of leads that fall dead before they begin. Finally, they get a tip that the nanny was in on the deal. But, after finally getting to the end of they maze, they only manage to find a Green Arrow mockup with a sign saying "good try, greenbean." The police let Brick go, much to Ollie's chagrin.

The next day, Ollie takes Mia to the hospital to have her stitches removed and the doctor drops a bombshell on him: Mia tested positive for HIV.
