Synopsis:
After the Hulk beats the demon Zom out of the possessed body of Dr. Strange, Zom is on the loose. Wong and the Renegades track down the demon as it hunts for a new body. They catch up with Zom just as it inhabits Iron Man's abandoned Hulkbuster armor (last seen in World War Hulk #1). Hercules and Namora attack the Zom-possessed Hulkbuster armor as Amadeus Cho remotely pilots Angel's Amphibicraft to crash into the melee. Hercules and Namora survive the impact due to their superstrength, but Zom has disappeared from the rubble. Zom has tunneled underground in search of a SHIELD bunker containing a nuclear weapon. Angel, Amadeus and Wong take off after Zom. Amadeus leaps towards Zom who possesses Amadeus in order to use his intelligence to unlock the SHIELD bunker. But now inhabiting Amadeus' non-superpowered body, Zom is easily taken down by Angel and his soul is bottled by Wong.
Cho takes the Hulkbuster armor to take over for Hercules and Namora who were left in a flooding cavern supporting a crucial part of the city's foundation. He finds the two heroes kissing underwater as they hold the buildings up. Hercules says Namora was helping him breathe.
The Renegades return to the surface just to witness the Hulk going mad and being taken down by the combined force of several satellite lasers (see World War Hulk #5).
Namora and Angel depart to take Wong home. Hercules attempts to comfort Amadeus, but he cannot help but feel that for all the good he did in stopping Zom, he could not save the Hulk.
