Warlock and friends find themselves in the presence of the Magus. Dismissing Pip and Gamora, Magus reveals his origin to Adam Warlock and starts the chain of events that will lead to his birth! Meanwhile, Gamora's mysterious master listens in to the Magus' plans, hoping to introduce another element that the Magus had not forseen. Will his plan be enough to stop the birth of the Magus, even as Warlock begins to spiral into madness?
