At Crosswind Corners, Hal realizes whoever is behind the attacks against him does not want to harm Carol Ferris.

Carol tells him she knew of Crosswind and was using Hal because she discovered someone she loves is still alive. A robot Carl Ferris says that he hired Deathstroke and Flicker to kidnap Carol, Olivia Reynolds, Tom Kalmaku, and the heroes.

Green Arrow also was captured. When Carol is seemingly harmed in the battle with Flicker, Carol's mother bursts into the room.

She says that she was in a sanitarium, but returned and pestered Hal, thinking she was doing what her husband wanted.

This is Gerard Jones final issue of "Green Lantern." He had been writing the book since the first issue.
